Getting started with a new fitness program can feel a little overwhelming—but at Deep Well Athletics, we’re here to make it simple, welcoming, and built around you. Whether you’re brand new to working out or just looking for a fresh start, we’ve got a process designed to help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to succeed.
Step 1: Your Free Intro
It all starts with a free one-on-one intro session. You’ll sit down with one of our coaches to talk about your goals, your current routine (or lack of one—no judgment!), and how we can help. This is where we begin to build a game plan tailored specifically to you.
Step 2: Foundations
If you’re new to functional fitness or just want a refresher, we’ll take you through our Foundations program. This series teaches you the key movements you’ll see in class—things like squats, presses, deadlifts, and more. It’s all about building confidence in your form and setting a strong foundation for success.
Step 3: Joining Class
Once you complete Foundations, you’re ready to jump into class! By now, you’ll know what to expect and feel comfortable moving with a group. In your first few weeks, we’ll scale and modify workouts as needed to make sure you’re getting a great sweat in without overdoing it. Our goal is to keep the intensity manageable while your body adjusts and gets stronger.
What to Expect After a Few Weeks
Once you’re a few weeks in, the lingo will start to make sense, the movements will feel more familiar, and you’ll start to notice changes—in your energy, your mood, and even your confidence.
Pair your workouts with some smart nutrition choices, and after a couple of months you’ll likely start to see physical changes, too. More strength. Better stamina. Clothes fitting differently. And maybe even a few surprised compliments from friends or coworkers.
The 3–4 Month Mark: Real Progress
Stay consistent for 3–4 months, and you’ll likely be hitting the goals you set during that first intro session. That’s when we’ll sit down again to talk about what’s next—whether it’s dialing in your nutrition, building new strength goals, or just continuing to feel awesome day after day.
